The News-Press 2010 Market Watch scheduled for Feb. 25
Local experts will provide residential and commercial real estate professionals as well as consumers with accurate new research and an empowering total market assessment for this year’s The New-Press Market Watch on Feb. 25. The presentations will answer many looming questions about the future of Southwest Florida real estate.
The News-Press Market Watch will take place at the Harborside Event Center in the Fort Myers River District. It will begin with networking at 4 p.m., followed by the presentation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This year’s presenters are Denny Grimes, ABR, CRS, GRI, MBA, CDPE, president of Denny Grimes & Company, and Stan Stouder, CCIM, a founding partner with CB Richard Ellis Fort Myers-Naples.
Grimes will provide an overview of the residential real estate market, discussing the difference between distressed and non-distressed markets, and identifying the submarkets that have and have not yet bottomed out. His analysis will include commentary on how to move forward empowered by this data.
Stouder will discuss challenges in the commercial real estate market and offer solutions for property owners and investors moving into 2010. He’ll tell attendees where the deals are, analyze market niches, explain the magic and mystery of valuation, discuss holding periods for leased properties, and surmise the opportunities and trends in today’s market.
